Arts & Faith programme

In Easter 2010, Saint Stephen’s hosted the Stations of the Cross, the touring exhibition of 15 carved painted panels by Graeme Evelyn.  The picture above features, Resurrection. Saint Stephen’s artist-in-residence, Graeme Evelyn, is currently creating the Reconciliation Reredos for Saint Stephen’s church to be unveiled December 2010.

September – December 2010

Saint Stephen’s responds to its historical link with slavery by presenting its Slavery and Reconciliation programme including an exhibition, book launch, film and cantata and gospel singing workshops.

Events earlier this year

Saint Stephen’s hosted Drawing Exchange workshops in April and May 2010, as well as a popular gospel singing workshop with the Gasworks Choir.

Saint Stephen’s invited young people to learn stone carving and build community in the summer. It reissued and expanded the stone-carving invitation in September 2010.
